Short version: we do not collect anything about you.

What we collect

Nothing directly. This site has no accounts, no sign-up, no comments, no newsletter and no contact form. There is nowhere to enter personal information, so none is collected.

If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it. We do not add the address to a list.

Server logs

The web server records ordinary request logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser — as almost every server does. They are used to keep the site working and are not combined with anything else or used to build a profile.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. Following one may set a cookie in your browser belonging to that retailer, which is how they attribute a later purchase to this site. That cookie is set by them, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy rather than this one. We never receive your name, address or payment details — only, at most, that a sale occurred.

Links to our sister site carry tracking parameters in the URL so we can see which pages send readers there. Those identify the page, not the person.

What we do not do

• No advertising networks and no retargeting.
• No selling or sharing of data, because there is none to sell.
• No third-party fonts, scripts or embedded frames — the site loads nothing from anyone else.
